I always love to order here when it comes to having a family party because they make the best sisig and pancit. I'm very picky on sisig and I like mine a little crispy and dry, sometimes people drown it with a lot of sauce and I don't like that version at all. The pancit is just so perfectly made and I can't get tired of it. There was a long line for people picking up too.

The food was delicious and disappeared in no time at all. We had pancit malabon, lumpia, barbecue chicken in skewers and barbecue pork in skewers. The service was great and he even helped me carry the food to my car. I'll have to eat in the restaurant next time to see what the ambiance was like.

What can I say? The food is amazing. I got the pork tocino with egg and it was delicious and sweet! Also ordered the lumpiang Shanghai and they were sooooo good and crispy. Everything was so delicious I had to try the Bibingkang and it was amazing. It was worth long drive here. Above all this, the staff was very nice. Hans the owner is a very nice, hospitable man. The way he interacts with his staff and the customers is amazing. He struck up a conversation and really made my day. I will be coming back!

Updated review Jan 23 2024 Manila Sunset in Rancho Cucamonga has consistently been my go-to for delicious Filipino food. Craved their Pancit Malabon, so I opted for the large tray at $57.38 (including tax) instead of a small portion. Added some Bibingka at $5.95 each, ordered 6, and I'm delighted to have leftovers for tomorrow! Planning to try their Crispy Pata, lumpia Shanghai, and fresh lumpia on my next visit. The service is usually great, especially with Christy! While they have seating inside and an outdoor patio, I typically order to go. The restaurant is well-maintained, and parking is convenient in the strip mall next to 24 Fitness center and other businesses. Definitely recommend! My Personal Rating : 4.1 Food 4.2/5 Staff 4.2/5 Price 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Cleanliness 4.1/5

Absolutely adore this place, it transports me back to the Philippines with all their dishes. They don't miss! Let's start off with the classics: lugaw and tokwa is a MUST, hearty and delicious. We also ordered the following: pancit palabok, bibingka, lumpiang Shanghai, Kare-kare and munggo. Would highly recommend the munggo, it's the best! The ambiance is clean and the service is prompt and friendly. Salamat sa Nanay Josie and JR and their helpfulness and incredible service. They even helped us pack our takeout and also offered extra sabaw! A gem of a restaurant if you're looking for affordable and delicious Filipino food. Maraming salamat!

Some of us aren't fortunate enough to see a sunset In Manila but we can taste what others taste when it comes to that nostalgia feeling. I was hesitant to try this place out but luckily I have a legit fellow foodie that can vouch for this spot. I ordered some of my favorites and a couple of new items I've never tried. I started off with their dinuguan and it was exactly what I expected with all the fixings plus that spicy kick with a sour note at the end plus the chilies still swimming inside. Next was the arroz caldo which was almost perfect except it needed a little help but still good. So my favorite part of this experience was the puto bumbong. So this is a dessert that comes with purple rice that's steamed in bamboo tubes and topped with grated coconut and sugar. Oh man this little delight was my highlight! But I did try out another item that is new to the menu and that was the bibingka a la mode. Another great dessert to cap off a satisfying experience and legit! Hey! I may not be Filipino but I've been around to know what's good and what isn't. And that's my take on it, Peace.

I've heard of Manila Sunset many times actually; I think this is where my family orders lumpia (eggrolls) for family gatherings. I personally have never visited but they had more than 5 locates in southern California. Since I am in the I.E more than a couple times a week, I was happy to know they had a location in Rancho. I really enjoyed the hot food. The prices were reasonable, I am use to cafeteria style but it was nice to somewhat have table service. Ordered pancit malabon and eggrolls, I loved that the food came out super hot! If your new to Filipino Food start with the Skewers, beef steak w rice, pancit Malabon and lumpia shanghai. Thank me later!! OUTDOOR PATIO, DOG FRIENDLY
